Speaking of picnics and benches on my earlier post today, here are a few pictures from our last trip to Paris. We ate lunch outdoors at the Jardins du Trocadéro to enjoy the peace and quiet, and the view of the Eiffel Tower.
Some people have shopping or dining on top of their list when they go on trips but in my case, it’s seeing the architecture of the city that I like the most. From the grand landmarks to the little details that may pass unnoticed (I have a folder devoted entirely to basement windows/doors in Riga!), there’s nothing like walking around, grabbing a waffle or doughnut along the way, and just taking pleasure from the “free exhibit” around you. London-based fashion brand GENE Style reminds me of such trips: looking at these clothes is like looking at beautiful structures. Enjoy the stroll!
Two months ago, I showed you three monochromatic outfits that are perfect for the summer holidays. In need of more ideas? Here are 10 more looks to the rescue. Esprit turns your summer escapade from fun to fab in the waters of Ibiza, St. Tropez and Waikiki. Shopbop got the Mayan Riviera and Grand Canyon covered, as well as fashionable New York and Paris. And finally, Gina Tricot prepares you for the romantic cities of Santorini, Nice and Tulum. (Phew, feels like I went around the world in one minute!)
How do you wear coloured denim? Esprit takes you around the world for inspiration, with these three looks worn in the distinctive styles of the most fashionable cities. So, are you casual and chic Paris, feminine and trendy Rome, or cool and urban New York?
