KEIRA KNIGHTLEY AND HER 100 HAIRSTYLES

OK, maybe it’s not really 100. But it feels like it since there is never a dull moment when it comes to Keira Knightley’s ‘dos. I’m crazy about the sleek angled bob that she first wore at the Chanel spring/summer 2011 show during Paris Fashion Week (3rd photo). It’s effortlessly chic for everyday wear. To transform it into something that’s worthy of the red carpet, jazz it up with subtle waves like Keira had done in the last photo. Ah, perfection.

CORAL EYESHADOW: JUST PEACHY?

I hardly wear eye makeup because my eyes are extremely sensitive and prone to inflammation. I don’t use mascara and eyeliner. I do put on eye shadow when I need to but even that is a risk I have to take. Last week, however, for some crazy reason, I found myself picking up an “ophthalmologically tested” eyeshadow stick from Kiko Cosmetics. I bought #29 (intensive coral) with the intention of wearing it during the day. Though I was on the fence about the color, I chose it nonetheless because it was the least “daring” among the choices available (the others being blue, green and fuchsia). And because I remain unsure about the color, I haven’t gone around wearing it.  What do you guys think of coral on the eyelids?

UPDATE: My left eye became inflamed from trying on the eyeshadow around the house. Argh. I just got back from the doctor and I have to wear an eye patch until  tomorrow. Hope the medication works, otherwise I will have to see an eye specialist. So let it be known, Kiko’s “ophthalmologically tested” products are NOT safe for sensitive eyes!
